New Commissioning in Azerbaijan: Evlakh and Gabala stations

The 1520 Group of Companies is going to take part in the implementation of a large-scale project aimed at fully-fledged modernization of the Zemun technical-passenger railway station and train depot in Belgrade, the Republic of Serbia. The price of the contract is 1.5 million EUR.

We are happy to share our eco-news with you! The other day 1520 Signal brought 12 kilograms of the used batteries collected by our employees to the recycling point. Batteries are a hazardous waste because they are comprised of a “cocktail” of heavy metals. Once in landfill or nature, cases of batteries disintegrate and toxic substances poison water and soil, get into the food chain and in the end, can be found in a human body.Recycling of a single AA battery can save tons of fresh water!
Round Table Hosted by the “Gudok” Publishing House
On August, 20 in the “Gudok” Publishing House hosted a Round Table event that was devoted to the topic “Signaling Systems on the Railway Transport. Efficiency. Safety. Innovations. ” and which was attended by the representatives of the central office and field-specific departments of JSC RZD and other representatives, manufacturers and suppliers of signaling systems. Our company was represented by the Executive Director – Sergey Esyrev. The discussion was also joined by the representatives of Elteza JSC – Evgeny Goman and Sergey Fursov , as well as by the representatives of Radioavionika JSC, Locotech Signal Ltd., Energiya JSC, Research and Development Company Promelectronica JSC, etc.
The Tynda Station is Switching to Computer-Based Interlocking.
JSC «Bamstroymekhanizatsia» that is a part of the 1520 Group of Companies is about to finish the large-scale reconstruction of the Tynda station. Currently, the Ebilock 950 computer-based interlocking equipment is being connected. 1520 Signal (which is also a part of the 1520 Group of Companies) is the company in charge of supply, assembly and adjustments of the equipment. The Ebilock 950 system will not only make it possible to control the main station of the Baikal-Amur Mainline with a computer but also, after the commissioning of the CBI system, will position the Tynda station alongside the most advanced stations of the Russian Railways.
