High-Speed Rail Projects and Other Transport Infrastructure Development Areas Discussed at the Natsproektstroy Group Session during INNOPROM.Minsk

Participants of the Natsproektstroy Group session at the INNOPROM.Minsk exhibition discussed high-speed railway projects and other key directions for the development of transport infrastructure. “Transport infrastructure is a crucial factor in the development and integration of regions and countries. Today, we face a major technological challenge — to build Russia’s first high-speed railway that will connect Moscow and Saint Petersburg and effectively erase the boundaries between regions. After the successful launch of HSR-1, we can move forward with the Moscow–Minsk high-speed line project,” said Dmitry Bolotsky, Deputy CEO for Commerce at NPS Group.

According to D. Bolotsky, the construction of the Moscow–Minsk High-Speed Line will further strengthen integration processes between Russia and Belarus.

The discussion was moderated by Petr Geltishchev, Communications Director at Natsproektstroy. The session brought together representatives from "Belavtodor", Minsk Metro, the “Directorate for International Transport Corridors”, Metrovagonmash, the Eurasian Development Bank, and the Belarusian Cement Company. A welcoming address was delivered by a Member of the Board (Minister) for Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
