NPS Digitalizes Chervinka Passing Loop on BAM’s Ulak–Fevralsk Line
NPS companies have digitalized the Chervinka passing loop, located on the Ulak–Fevralsk section of the Baikal-Amur Mainline (BAM) in the Amur Region. The Russian-made CBI-EL system has been implemented to remotely control points and signals with a simple mouse click.
Engineers installed PUSHP at the site, which provide at least two hours of reliable operation in the event of an external power failure. All station-based equipment is housed in mobile modules equipped with automatic fire suppression systems.
The signaling systems are specifically adapted to the region’s severe climate and include lightning protection against surge voltages. Additionally, the it features enhanced cyber security to safeguard the digital infrastructure against unauthorized access.
The digitalization of traffic control is a key component of the Eastern Range development program. Advanced Russian signaling system ensures high levels of operational reliability and transport safety.
