In October, specialists from NPS companies equipped eight facilities of the Far Eastern Railway with modern Russian Signaling
The upgrade covers a total of 66 points and 103 signals. These will now be managed via a computer interface powered by the CBI-EL computer-based Interlocking system.
The following locations have transitioned to digital control:

Track posts at 1883 km, 1897 km, and 303 km;

Ayam, Miroshnichenko, Nora, and Shturm passing loops;

Tungala station.
The upgrade covers a total of 66 points and 103 signals. These will now be managed via a computer interface powered by the CBI-EL computer-based Interlocking system.
The signals have been outfitted with LED optics to improve visibility and increase energy efficiency. All station-based equipment is housed in mobile complexes featuring automatic fire suppression and a power supply unit for uninterruptible power.
To safeguard the digital core from unauthorized access, all facilities have been equipped with enhanced cyber security. This digitalization effort will increase line capacity while improving overall reliability and safety.
