Digital equipment of the Signaling Division of 1520 Group – at the next 4 objects of the Eastern Polygon

These days the next 4 objects of the Far Eastern Railway were upgraded with the digital computer-based interlocking CBI-EL system that was designed and produced by the Signaling Division of 1520 GC:

 - the crossing loops Stlanik and 3224 km of the open line Tuyun-Stlanik;
 - the crossing loops 2314 km and 2329 km of the open line Kuvykta – Kuryan, where just before the second track was opened, which would allow to pass more trains to the main station of the BAM - Tynda.

The modernization increased the capacity of the open line Kuvykta-Kuryan almost twice as much. The domestic CBI-EL system allows: to remotely regulate the operation of electric points and signals, to set train routes, to control equipment parameters and to timely detect pre-failure conditions. Adapted to the harsh climate, protected against surge overvoltages and cyberattacks, the CBI-EL system will increase efficiency and improve safety of another section of the Baikal-Amur Mainline.

Work on the Baikal-Amur Mainline is carried out under extreme conditions: swampy terrain, permafrost, and poor infrastructure. We would like to thank the team of companies of the Signaling Division for another successful launch! We implement exclusively domestic developments at critical infrastructure facilities, increasing the efficiency of the Russian key transportation artery and enhancing the country's technological sovereignty.
