The article describes the modern innovative rail transport control systems of 1520 Signal Ltd, which are widely implemented in the metro and tram transport in Moscow, and are characterized by a high level of safety, readiness and reliability:

The RBI-EL — hybrid relay-based interlocking system is installed in the Solntsevo, Rudnevo, and Zamoskvoretskoye electric depots. This system makes it possible to replace the control panel without a complete modernization and implement control of automation from the workstation, as well as organize diagnostics and archiving of all operator actions.

On April 09, 2021, The CBI-EL — computer-based interlocking system for points and traffic lights was successfully put into operation at the Sokol electric depot (57 points) of the Moscow Metro. This is a very important milestone both for our company as well as for the Moscow Metro, for which the CBI-EL system has become the first computer-based system put into operation.

As part of solving the problem of tram transport infrastructure modernization, the specialists of our company, together with other companies of the 1520 Signaling Division, developed The Automated system for the integrated tram control. The use of this technology makes it possible to modernize the infrastructure by significantly increasing the speed of trams passing points, increasing the level of automation and work culture of operational and maintenance personnel. The Automated system for the integrated tram control has successfully passed tests near the Kursky railway station in Moscow and has permits for use. This is an important event for the tram transport of Moscow and the Russian Federation.

A separate place in the article is given to a new development of our company — The Automated system for the metro train control. All the leading metro operators of the world have been using such systems for a long time. At present, a joint order with the SUE Moscow Metro has been signed to test the system. The functionality of the system includes automatic rolling stock operation, implemented via a radio channel. Metrovagonmash JSC has already produced the Moskva train, which interacts with such a system. With the provision of the guaranteed safety conditions, The Automated system of the metro train control will be ready for the implementation with the automatic operation function, which, of course, will make the transportation process as effective as possible with minimal inter-train intervals.
