Since 2014, Russia has taken a course towards import substitution in the economy after the imposition of sanctions by Western countries.

This strategic task of transition to software and hardware and electronic products of domestic production, set by the Government of the Russian Federation, is aimed at improving the national and economic security of the country through the development of Russian industry, increasing its competitiveness and overcoming dependence on imports. At the end of the 90s, the Russian market lacked competencies and developments for computer-based interlocking control systems.

1520 Signal, a part of the 1520 Group of Companies, keeps pace with the times and has been moving towards technological independence from foreign companies and localization of production in Russia for over ten years, which has made it possible to significantly reduce risks and respond to the unprecedented challenge thrown to Russia by the EU countries and the USA.

Today, under the sanctions blockade, we continue to implement all our projects, including international ones.
