Give Way to Coal of Khakassia

Give Way to Coal of Khakassia

An article "Give Way to Coal of Khakassia" of our PR Director  Elena Aleshina has been issued in Gugok (№240 from 29/12/21). We are publishing it in full here.

«1520 Signal» Company, part of 1520 Group of Companies, is implementing a large-scale project at the industrial transport object of Khakassia. The customer is JSC "Otdelenije Vnutrenney Ekspluatatsii «(JSC «OVE») (EN + Group).

The Beyskoye coal deposit is the most promising coal area in Russia in terms of the coal volume. The deposit is included in the governmental program for the development of the coal industry of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030.

The quality of the Beyskoye deposit coal is so high that it meets tough international requirements. Now the export share is up to 60%. In the next five years, it will be twice increased.

Without modernization of the train control systems of public and non-public railways it would be impossible to ensure efficient coal transportation. Thus, innovative solutions for the automation of the transportation process are required.

Implementation of safe, reliable and easy-to-use computer-based interlocking system EBILock 950 at this object will provide the centralized control of several railway stations of JSC «OVE» from the CTC (centralized train control) center without introduction of additional equipment.

In the period 2020-2021 at the JSC «OVE» railway area there have already been successfully put into operation 4 stations. Full project implementation with the introduction of a CTC center and LCSS-GID (Executed Traffic Schedule), developed by 1520 Signal Ltd., is scheduled for 2022.

The «distributed» type of the CBI EBILock 950 system will allow integrating train control of the stations Kamyshta-2, Beyskie Kopi, Uglesborochnaya, Sorokaozerki and Sayanogorsk into a single cluster with minimum investment.

New logistics routes for the transportation of coal by rail will allow unloading public highways, will exclude their destruction by freight heavy-tonnage equipment, as well as ensure the transportation of coal by the shortest route, bypassing the populated areas and not polluting them.
