SIGNALING DIVISION OF 1520 GROUP OF COMPANIES INTRODUCED DIGITAL TRAFFIC CONTROL AT TWO STATIONS OF MCD-3 AND MCD - 4

The 1520 Signaling Division equipped the Aprelevka station of MCD-4 and the Moscow - Passenger - Kazanskaya. Mitkovo Park station of MCD-3 with the latest Russian automation. Digitalization will ensure reliable control of interval traffic on future diameters, increase safety and the line capacity.

At both stations, the modern computer-based CBI-EL system (developed and produced by the1520 Signaling Division) was introduced. The system allows you to remotely control the station, set train routes. With its help, it is possible to dynamically control the parameters of point machines, traffic lights and other wayside devices, and timely detect pre-failure states. The built-in cyber protection prevents the unauthorized access to digital equipment. Hot redundancy of all components ensures high reliability. Also, CBI-EL allows minimizing the customer's costs throughout the entire life cycle of the system.
To launch the digital traffic at the Mitkovo Park station, the specialists of OSK 1520 (part of 1520 GC) replaced all wayside devices, laid about 80 km of cable, connected 30 point machines and 44 traffic lights to the new system. The traffic control equipment was placed in a new module consisting 17 sections.
At the Aprelevka station, the final destination point of the future MCD-4, wayside and station equipment was replaced, an additional track, 17 new point machines and more than 100 km of cable were introduced. 45 points and 65 signals were connected to the digital control system. For the new equipment, a 2-storey signaling control post was built.
