Natsproektstroy Signaling Division Showcases Domestic Digital Solutions at Irkutsk Industry Event
The production event "Implementation of Advanced Technologies in Automation and Remote Control Systems: Eastern Polygon Case Study," organized by the Automation and Remote Control Directorate of the Central Infrastructure Directorate (a branch of Russian Railways) in Irkutsk on July 22–23, has concluded.
A highlighted solution at the exhibition was automated train operation technology implemented at the Slyudyanka II station on the East Siberian Railway. The technology provides a digital interface between Computer-Based Interlocking (CBI) and an intelligent automated train driving system, creating a foundation for increasing train frequency without large-scale infrastructure overhauls, advancing automated traffic management technologies, and enabling future autonomous train operation.
Participants also showed strong interest in the PKZP-EL subsystem for monitoring Level Crossing clearance, the domestic "Platform 2.0" designed for digitalizing traffic management across rail and industrial facilities, and proprietary industrial computers produced by ExpertStroyProekt under the import substitution program. JSC ELTEZA featured its next-generation Centralized Traffic Control (CTC) system DC-EL at its booth, while RoSAT, Stalenergo, and JSC ATIS demonstrated their own solutions for railway automation and remote control facilities.
The showcased developments are the result of consistent engineering and manufacturing progress across companies within the Natsproektstroy Signaling Division. Many of these solutions are already successfully operating on the Russian Railways network, enhancing transport reliability and safety while building the technological foundation for upcoming infrastructure initiatives, including high-speed rail projects.
