1520 GROUP OF COMPANIES EQUIPPED THE BEYSKY COAL DEPOSIT RAILWAY HUB WITH THE COMPUTER-BASED SYSTEM

1520 Signal Ltd. (part of the 1520 Group of Companies) has put into permanent operation a computer-based interlocking (CBI) system at the Kamyshta-2 and Sorokaozerki stations at the railway polygon of "Otdelenije Vnutrenney Ekspluatatsii" («OVE») JSC (EN + Group) in Khakassia.

The introduction of the EBILock 950 system has made it possible to organize the real-time control of traffic lights and point machines throughout the whole section. As a result the traffic interval has been significantly reduced, the volume of coal transportation has been increased, and train traffic has become safer.

Implementation of the turn-key project of «OVE» JSC for modernization of the railway infrastructure will increase the throughput capacity of the southern route of the Trans-Siberian Mainline — the Mezhdurechensk — Abakan — Taishet section, necessary for the industrial development of the Beyskoye coal deposit. In addition, new logistics will unload other routes, reduce road wear, and ensure the transportation of coal by the shortest route and bypassing the populated area.
