His report outlined the company's key areas of activity, highlighting its experience in implementing automated train operation technologies at the Slyudyanka II station. Special attention was given to the role of digital infrastructure in advancing autonomous transport.

"Digitalizing railway infrastructure is an essential prerequisite for the further development and large-scale adoption of autonomous technologies. Experience demonstrates that areas where digital solutions are already in place—including projects on the Moscow Central Circle and Moscow Central Diameters—have achieved tangible results in process automation. At the same time, the digital transformation of infrastructure must account for the specific characteristics of individual line sections. A comprehensive, balanced approach is required to determine the optimal suite of technological solutions. However, when aiming for high automation levels and autonomous train movement, building a digital infrastructure becomes an imperative," said Andrey Borodin.

Aleksandr Dmitrenko, Head of Urban Rail Transit at the NPS Group Signaling Division, delivered a presentation in the same session titled "Digital Infrastructure for Autonomous Urban Rail Transit." In his report, Dmitrenko detailed the experience of creating digital automation for urban rail transport and its role in preparing for autonomous operation. He placed particular emphasis on establishing secure digital communication between rolling stock and infrastructure, automating functions currently performed by drivers, and ensuring stable operations in mixed-traffic environments. He also addressed cybersecurity for digital channels and the application of artificial intelligence technologies.

"Transitioning to autonomous operation is impossible without creating a unified digital environment where rolling stock and infrastructure can securely and reliably exchange data. Our mission is to develop automation systems that simultaneously guarantee the stable operation of existing transit networks and build the technological foundation for the phased introduction of autonomous technologies," noted Aleksandr Dmitrenko.

The participation of NPS Group representatives in the conference's business program highlights the company's key operational priorities: advancing digital control systems, integrating intelligence across the transport sector, and establishing the technological framework for the transition to autonomous transit.
