MCD-3: the third is open!
Russian President Vladimir Putin has opened passenger traffic on the MCD-3. The new 85 km long line will connect Zelenograd and Ramenskoye.
Works were performed in difficult conditions: dense construction, lots of communications, heavy traffic.
Among our facilities is the terminal point of the MCD–3, Kryukovo station. The builders of 1520 built a modern transport hub with an area of 7,500 m2 here. Mostootryad-47 and UСC 1520 built a 402-meter turning tunnel near the Kazan railway station ahead of schedule, in just over a year, .
The most difficult section of the MCD-3 is the Mitkovskaya connecting branch. Here, at the Mitkovo Park station, the specialists of the Signaling Division have implemented a modern digital train control system CBI-EL .
The general designer was Moszheldorproject (a branch of Roszheldorproject).
MCD-3 will improve transport services in more than 20 districts of Moscow, unload Leningradskoe and Novoryazanskoe highways, Volgogradsky Prospekt.
