Natsproektstroy and Uzbekistan Railways to Expand Cooperation in Localizing Signaling Production

NPS Group and JSC Uzbekistan Railways (O’zbekiston Temir Yo’llari) are set to develop cooperation in localizing the production of railway signaling in Uzbekistan.

Aleksey Soshnikov, Deputy General Director of JSC ELTEZA, and Sharafiddin Kadyrov, Chief Engineer of Uzbekistan Railways, signed a corresponding memorandum today at the "INNOPROM. Central Asia" forum.

NPS intends to provide technical support and guidance for the localization process, as well as organize training programs for Uzbekistan Railways specialists at its own production facilities.

The list of equipment targeted for potential localized production includes Computer-Based Interlocking (CBI) and Centralized Traffic Control (CTC) systems, automatic block signaling and axle counting systems, Automatic Train Protection (ATP), point machines, and LED signals. The agreement also covers digital communication equipment, safety devices for level crossings, and traffic management systems for High-Speed Railways (HSR).
