“THE DAY OF INNOVATIONS” IN YAROSLAVL
On April 19, in the framework of the "World Day of Creativity and Innovation" in Yaroslavl at the Russian North Railway there was held an exhibition session called "Russian Railways Innovation Day". Leading Russian companies presented expositions with their advanced high-tech products
- Demonstration and educational complex with VR-simulator function for RBTC systems;
- Precision positioning system.
The simulator project was realized in close cooperation with the Northern Railway Administration. Virtual fragments of real sections of the Russian North Railway, BAM, Transsib and Ulan Bator Railway are realized in the complex. The equipment for the project was provided by the Northern Railway Administration.
The complex allows:
- training personnel promptly to work with the innovative traffic control systems;
- training students of higher and secondary specialized institutions, accelerating the learning process on modern traffic control systems.
The development of the precision positioning system is an initiative work of The Signaling Division of 1520 Group of Companies (part of Natsproektstroy) without a specific customer at the commercial risk of 1520 Signal as part of the work on designing on-board safety systems with different functional content based on the unified digital on-board safety platform (BSB-E).

As part of the business program of the exhibition, Mikhail Blucher, Project Manager of 1520 Signal, made a presentation on "Innovative solutions in the field of railway signaling for the Northern Railway".
The exhibition session "Innovation Day" opens new opportunities for cooperation, sharing experience and realization of innovative ideas and solutions.
