On the way to the Arctic

These days, the Pulozero station (2 points) and the Laplandiya - Pulozero open line have been equipped with the innovative digital systems of the Signaling Division of 1520 GC. The station has been equipped with digital system CBI-EL, and the open line – with the modern automatic line block system ABTs-EL. Now the capacity of this section will increase significantly, and traffic will be safer.

The work on the commissioning the ABTs-EL devices on the open line Laplandiya - Olenegorsk is also finishing.

For the Murmansk region, this railway is of particular importance. With its construction at the beginning of the twentieth century, the active development of the Kola Peninsula began. The works that are currently underway to reconstruct the station and open lines are of fundamental importance for the development of the western coast of the Kola Bay and for the implementation of the Murmansk transport hub project, which is included in the Arctic development strategy signed by the President and is under active implementation now.
