ELECTROTRANS EXHIBITION 2022
The 11th international exhibition "ElectroTrans": Electric Mobility, Products and Technologies for Electric Transport and Metro was held in Moscow at the Expocentre on Krasnaya Presnya. It brought together the largest Russian and foreign public transport companies on one site.
As part of the business program of the exhibition, round tables were held, one of which was organized by our company “1520 Signal”: “Modern traffic control systems for mass transit rail transport. Prospects for modernization and development”. The moderator was Alexander Dmitrenko - head of the "Mass transit rail transport" direction of 1520 Signal Ltd. At the Round Table, new developments in the field of mass transit transport were presented; the participants exchanged experience, discussed pressing issues, prospects for development and cooperation.
One of the reports on the topic “Solutions of the 1520 Group of Companies in the field of mass transit signaling systems” was made by Maxim Novikov, the leading engineer of the metro projects of our company. This topic is especially acute, since the developments of the Signaling Division companies are being actively implemented at the mass transit system.
Also, within the framework of the exhibition, our company organized a technical visit to the Sokol electric depot, the oldest depot that has been operating since 1938. The participants of the visit were acquainted with the CBI-EL computer-based interlocking system for points and signals, which was put into operation in April 2021. This became an important milestone, both for the Signaling Division of 1520 GC, as well as for the Moscow Metro, since the computer-based system was introduced in the metro for the first time.
The CBI-EL system ensures safe, uninterrupted train traffic with extremely short passing intervals, which is so important for one of the busiest transport systems in the world. CBI-EL is equipped with the most modern integrated system for increasing cybersecurity and is made in a dustproof design.
The visit turned out to be informative and very interesting. We have received a lot of positive feedback from the participants.
It is important to note the high attendance of the stand of our company for the entire period of the exhibition. The latest Automated system for the integrated control of tram cars traffic (ASKU DVT) was of particular interest. The system ensures efficient and safe operation of tram networks by the automated control. ASKU DVT controls switch of the points via radio channel from the driver's cab and controls their position. As a result, the capacity of tram lines is increased. Specially for the Automated system for the integrated control of tram cars traffic, within the framework of the import substitution program, the Armavir plant (a branch of ELTEZA OJSC) developed an electromagnetic tram point machine with control lines EMPT-31K on completely domestic components.
The exhibition with a rich business program was very productive for our company, creating conditions for an open dialogue between the participants. The latest developments in the field of mass transit system were presented, existing cooperation was strengthened and new business contacts appeared.
The importance of mass transit rail transport for the life of a modern metropolis is difficult to overestimate. Distances are reduced, time is freed up, the level of comfort and safety of transportation is increased. The Signaling Division technologies make a major contribution to the development of mass transit transport infrastructure.
