CyberSafemon

CyberSafemon comprises a panel PC with a sensor display that is installed into a standard 19-inch cabinet and a modified RS-422 interface for one-way information reception. On the front panel of the computer, there is a USB slot for connection of an external information storage medium.

The application software of the CyberSafemon complex was developed in Russia. Tests carried out within the frame of the certification procedure according to the information security requirements have proved that it guarantees security of the internal CBI network from cyber-attacks from external data transmission networks as well as from malevolent software from connected external media. The use of CyberSafemon significantly improves the level of information security of protected CBI and excludes the necessity of connecting portable media to the CBI equipment for copying system logs.

ADVANTAGES

The cost of the hardware-software system reduces the use of serial general-purpose equipment that meets the requirements for the railroad signaling technologies.
The original protocol is optimized for the simultaneous transmission of telecommunication data and CBI logs.
Software with an open code (open code of Linux family) is used as an operating system.
CyberSafemon computer has an intuitive user interface with 10,4-inch sensor panel that allows data copying to any portable media with a USB interface.
A standard FEU client of the CBI is used without modification as a telecommunication data visualization client, which doesn’t require additional training.
Remote access to CBI monitoring is provided, even via non-secure WAN networks (data transmission network, hardware, and software system of traffic control, and other data transmission systems and Internet) by using HTTP, FTP, MultiRcos protocols.
It allows to combine FEU of the diagnostic system and FEU CBI without violating cyber security requirements.
A function of backup archive storage (black box) for CBI logs is implemented.
