Nontrailable Point Machine of Sleeper-Mounting Design.

The RAIL SWITCH 300 electric point machine of sleeper-mounting design is able to operate in sections with high-speed traffic (including multi-machine turnouts and turnouts with a movable cross core) under severe operating conditions and allows ramming in ballast by mechanized method without dismantling the machine elements. A programmable frequency converter that distributes «tear-away» and «clamping» forces ensures a smooth run of the point blades, smooth motor starting and braking, turnout current control and motor stop if the point blade cannot be brought to for the time allocated for switching.

The disengage eliminates the risk of the mechanism damage in case of trailing of point. The risk of the mechanism damage during the track work is also reduced almost to zero.

COST REDUCTION

The RAIL SWITCH 300 (EBISwitch 2000) electric point machine can be installed on the turnout at the factory or field-mounted by replacing a usual sleeper. The RAIL SWITCH 300 (EBISwitch 2000) does not require modification when operating with turnouts of different types and with right or left installation on the turnout.
