THE SIGNALING DIVISION 1520 GC DIGITIZED ANOTHER STATION OF THE FUTURE MCD-4

Another station of the future Fourth Moscow Central Diameter (MCD-4) - Moscow - Sortirovochnaya - Kievskaya - was digitized by the specialists of The Signaling Division 1520 GC. The computer-based interlocking equipment will ensure clock traffic on the span Ochakovo - Poklonnaya of the new diameter: trains will run there at constant short intervals.

The CBI-EL system produced by The Signaling Division and installed at the station will increase the line capacity, allow the staff to perform all operations and monitor the equipment remotely, via computer. The system is equipped with cyber security to prevent unauthorized access to the railway infrastructure.

The Moscow-Sortirovochnaya-Kievskaya station is already the third station of the MCD-4 that was modernized with the innovative computer-based interlocking equipment produced by The Signaling Division.

In 2022 two stations of the fourth diameter - Krekshino and Tolstopaltsevo – were already digitized. The Dvision plans to equip the entire fourth diameter with its own computer-based interlocking systems.

The opening of the MCD-4 will create a new point-to-point above-ground metro line from west to east across Moscow and will connect the seven central railway stations of the capital. This will improve transport services for more than 20 districts of Moscow. The capital will become closer to the residents of Aprelevka, Reutov, Zheleznodorozhny and other nearby areas.
